“Executive Assistant and Undergraduate Program Coordinator, I just celebrated 20 years at UVA.”

What do you enjoy about working in UVA Chemistry?

“I love working with the students the most. I love being a calming voice for them and helping them come up with a plan for completing degree requirements and exploring career opportunities.”

What is a piece of advice that you would like to pass on to UVA students?

“Take a deep breath. Your future is not dependent on one exam or grade.” 

What activities do you enjoy outside of work?

“I love kayaking, fishing, and following and attending UVA sports.”
