Chemistry student Tiffany Tran has received a Harrison Undergraduate Research Award. The award will allow her to complete a research project over the course of this summer and the following academic year under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
Tran is a second year undergraduate student from Chantilly, Virginia. She plans to study Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry. A researcher in the Pompano Lab, Tran is currently interested in “Investigating methods to handle and maintain viability of tonsil tissue culture.” She is mentored by Ph. D. student Parris Anbaei.
